Will is an active advocate for sustainable travel in their community and co-chair of their neighborhood traffic calming committee. They started Isthmus Carshare as part of the Fall 2023 Climatebase Fellowship. They currently work as a data scientist for a soil carbon startup, and have previously worked at 2 early-stage technology companies.

Chad is an 8-year resident of Madison and holds a doctorate degree from the UW-Madison Department of Physics. He took part in the Fall 2023 Climatebase Fellowship, a selective climate technology startup incubator and career accelerator. He currently works as a data scientist at Slingshot Aerospace.

Will Ochowicz is a passionate advocate for cities and housing. He has been a lead for Madison is for People, a local YIMBY group, since 2021. Will understands that housing affordability also includes transportation costs, and wants to make cars more affordably available without requiring ownership.

After sharing her own car for a decade, Janet Murphy launched a carshare at Arboretum Cohousing, a 40 household intentional community. She likes to say she has been car-free since 2021, but really she has three cars that she shares with 15 neighbors as part of CoCar Inc. Janet also manages the International Cohousing Carshare Group, which has 110 members in five countries. It is ironic that Janet is all about cars now, as everyone knows she has never had any affection for cars or driving. She is happy to reduce the number of cars in the world and promote sharing our lives by helping to establish community carshares like Isthmus Carshare.

Ethan is a 10-year resident of Madison and an advocate for reducing car dependency. He currently works at Epic as a software developer and is pursuing his master's in computer science at UW-Madison.
